Add images and audio to your project
Upload media, use its loading code and handle converted file names.
Steps
- Open a project in Code mode and choose Assets.
- Choose Add images or Add audio files.
- Select your files and wait for each one to finish checking.
- Read its final path or any refusal message.
- For an accepted file, choose Copy code.
- Paste the loading code into the relevant part of your game and connect it to the image or sound you want to use.
- Run the game and test the result.
- Save your project.
Supported media
Images accept PNG, JPEG or WebP and are kept as PNG. Audio accepts WAV, MP3 or Ogg and is kept as WAV. Use the limits shown in the upload flow. Converted audio can be larger than the compressed original.
Replace or remove media
Use the asset’s actual path in code. If an import renamed it, update old references. To remove an asset, choose Delete and confirm, then remove or replace code that still loads it. Saved checkpoints retain earlier versions.
If an asset is refused
Read the reason rather than repeatedly sending the same file. It may be animated, too large, too long or unreadable. Prepare a suitable file and retry. A successful upload alone does not place an image on screen or trigger a sound in gameplay.
