the studio

Build it, play it and publish it, all in one tab.

Start with a working game, make it yours and test it as you go. Your code, preview and path to llvls are together in the browser.

We are letting creators into the founding creator beta a few at a time. Prompt mode and the assistant are not yet available to every creator.

Change the files. Run the game. Try it again.

Two ways in, one project

Prompt mode and Code mode work on the same files. When assistant access is available, you can move between describing a change and writing it yourself.

Make the player jump higher.

When assistant access is available

Prompt mode

Describe a change in your own words. The assistant works on your project and saves its changes as a checkpoint.

  • Inspect the changed files and test the result.
  • Undo a whole assistant change from its checkpoint.
  • Keep working on the same project in Code mode.
import llvls from "@llvls/sdk"import Phaser from "phaser" const ctx = await llvls.init()

Your files, in your browser

Code mode

Write JavaScript or TypeScript in the browser editor. Open your files, build a preview and follow problems back to the code.

  • Run your current files when you are ready to test.
  • Save checkpoints and return to earlier work.
  • Download the project to keep a copy of your files.

Start from something that already runs

Pick a kind of game, controls, screen shape and look. The Studio makes a working starter for you to change. You can start from a blank project, too.

  • Platformer
  • Puzzle
  • Arcade shooter
  • Endless runner
  • Physics toy
  • Card or board
  • Idle or clicker
  • Story or text

Test it the way players will

The preview uses the same game frame as llvls. Build your latest changes, check the controls and try the moments that could go wrong.

Different screen sizes

Try desktop, phone sideways and phone upright in the preview. Check that your game fits before testing the real device.

On your own phone

Scan a QR code to open an eligible preview build on your phone. The temporary link stays with that build, so make a new one after changes.

Private playtest links

Share an eligible release with testers. They play signed out with no ads, and the test does not count as a public play. End the link when you are done.

Problems you can follow

Read build problems and console messages beside your game, then return to the file that needs attention.

A clear preview status

See whether you are playing the latest build or the last successful one. Use Run or Save to build your current files.

Test the hard parts

Use the SDK panel to try platform events such as pause, mute and a test ad. Check how your game resumes afterward.

Coming later

A free beginning. More game to come.

Paid chapters, series and items are part of the plan for llvls. Selling is not open in the beta yet.

  • Give players a free way to try your game.
  • Offer more of the game through paid content when commerce opens.
  • Keep paid content separate from the free download.

Earning, selling and payouts require an adult, verified creator. Read the earnings page for availability and the terms of each share.

Supported libraries

Use the Studio’s library list to choose supported engines and tools at pinned versions.

  • Libraries are bundled with your game.
  • Game code cannot make outside network requests.
  • Every release goes through build and safety checks.

A clear path to publishing

The checklist brings together your build, store page, rating and device support before you submit a release.

  • Releases must pass checks and any required review.
  • Keep editing while a submitted release is checked.
  • Your working changes do not replace the live game.

Your game stays yours

Publishing on llvls is non-exclusive. You can keep your game elsewhere and download your project files.

  • Keep a local copy of your project.
  • Choose when to submit a release.
  • Keep control of the game you are making.
