creator terms
4rc4d3 Creator Terms
Version 2026-10-10. In effect from 10 October 2026 until replaced by a new version.
In plain words
- You own your games. Publishing lets us host, show, promote and sell them on llvls.
- You follow the publishing guidelines and rate your games honestly.
- Earnings are paid monthly after a hold, and can be adjusted for invalid traffic, refunds and chargebacks.
- You can leave at any time and take your projects with you.
This summary helps you read the terms. It doesn’t replace them.
1. About these terms
1.1 These terms are an agreement between you and Live Shuttle ehf. (“we”, “us”). They apply when you use 4rc4d3.com and the 4rc4d3 Studio, and when you publish games on llvls.com.
1.2 They include Schedule 1 (the founding creator beta, while it runs), Schedule 2 (earnings and fees), the Publishing guidelines and the Ratings guide. If these disagree, each schedule wins on its own subject, then these terms, then the guidelines.
1.3 The “In plain words” lines and the Rights, Earnings and Taxes pages help you read the terms. They aren’t part of them.
1.4 Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal data. It isn’t part of this agreement.
1.5 Playing games on llvls as a player is covered by the llvls Player Terms. Creator and player accounts are separate, and these terms don’t cover your player account.
2. Who we are
In plain words: Live Shuttle ehf., an Icelandic company, runs 4rc4d3 and llvls, sells to players and pays you.
2.1 4rc4d3 and llvls are trading names of Live Shuttle ehf., a private limited company registered in Iceland, kennitala 470612-0610, registered office Biskupsgata 5, 113 Reykjavík, Iceland, VAT number 111248.
2.2 You can reach us at hello@4rc4d3.com. We reply in English.
2.3 When a player buys something in your game, we are the seller to that player. You license your game to us (part 7), we sell access to players, and we pay you a share (part 9 and Schedule 2). You don’t contract with players, and you never handle their payments.
3. Who can use 4rc4d3
In plain words: you need to be 16 or over. To earn, sell or publish Mature games, you need to be 18 and verified.
3.1 You must be 16 or over to have a creator account.
3.2 If you are 16 or 17, you can make and publish free games, but you can’t earn money, sell anything or publish Mature games until you are 18 and verified. By accepting these terms you confirm that a parent or guardian agrees to them.
3.3 Your age comes from the date of birth you give at sign-up. You can’t change it yourself. Support can correct it if you show proof.
3.4 To earn, sell or publish a Mature game, you must be 18 or over and pass verification (part 10).
3.5 You can use 4rc4d3 for yourself, or for a business you are allowed to act for. If you act for a business, “you” means the business, and you confirm you can bind it to these terms.
3.6 You can’t use 4rc4d3 if we have ended a previous account of yours for breaking these terms, unless we agree in writing.
3.7 While we let creators into the Studio by hand, signing up doesn’t guarantee access. We tell you by email when you are in. Schedule 1 covers the beta.
4. Your account
In plain words: one person per account, two-factor always on, and keep your details up to date.
4.1 Your account is for you alone. Don’t share your sign-in or let anyone else use it. Keep one creator account unless we agree otherwise.
4.2 Two-factor sign-in is required and can’t be turned off. Keep your backup codes somewhere safe.
4.3 If you lose both your phone and your backup codes, recovery is slow on purpose: an email you can cancel, a video identity check and a waiting period. Payouts pause until it’s done.
4.4 You are responsible for what happens in your account, unless it was caused by our failure. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got in.
4.5 Keep your details accurate, above all your verification and payout details. Changing payout details needs a code from your authenticator, and monthly payouts pause for 7 days afterwards. If the pause covers a payout run, that payout moves to the next run.
4.6 We send security emails (new sign-ins, code changes, recovery requests). You can’t turn them off. We will never ask for your password or your codes.
5. The Studio and the AI assistant
In plain words: the Studio is where you build. The assistant runs on Anthropic’s Claude models and is paid with AI credits or your own key. Check what it makes.
5.1 The Studio lets you build HTML5 games in code mode or prompt mode, preview them in the same sandbox players use, and publish releases to llvls.
5.2 The assistant uses Anthropic’s Claude models. It edits only the project you have open, checks every edit before applying it, and never publishes for you. Changes to a game’s audience, content descriptors, prices or credits need your confirmation.
5.3 The assistant uses AI credits (part 11), unless you add your own Anthropic API key. With your own key, your use is also covered by your agreement with Anthropic, and Anthropic bills you for it. We keep your key encrypted, use it only on our servers for your requests and never show it back. If your key stops working, we don’t switch to your credits without asking.
5.4 The assistant can be wrong. Review what it makes before you publish. You are responsible for everything in your games, whoever or whatever wrote it.
5.5 What you give the assistant (your prompts and project files) is sent to Anthropic to produce a reply. The Privacy policy explains this.
5.6 The Studio has limits, such as releases a day and a month and the size of a game. The current limits for the free plan and Studio Pro are shown in the Studio, and change only under part 17.
5.7 You can download any project as a zip at any time. Keep your own copy of anything you can’t afford to lose.
6. Your games, and who owns what
In plain words: you own your games. We own 4rc4d3, llvls and the tools.
6.1 You keep every right you have in your games: code, design, story, art, sound, your creator name, store pages and anything you upload (“your content”). Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to us.
6.2 Code and other output the assistant makes in your projects is yours, as between you and us, and we claim no rights in it. Some countries’ laws may not protect AI output, and similar output may be made for others, so we can’t promise it is protectable or unique.
6.3 We own 4rc4d3, llvls, the Studio, the SDK, the templates, the host and our names and logos. While this agreement lasts, you may use the SDK, templates and registry libraries to make games for llvls. Template code that becomes part of your game stays usable in that game, on llvls or anywhere else. You may not republish, sell or offer the templates themselves as templates, or use them to build a competing game builder.
6.4 You may say your game is on llvls or made on 4rc4d3, and link to it. Don’t suggest we endorse you, or use our logos in other ways, without our permission.
6.5 If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
7. The licence you give us when you publish
In plain words: publishing lets us host, show, promote and sell your game on llvls. It’s a licence, not a transfer, and it isn’t exclusive.
7.1 When you publish a release, you give Live Shuttle a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, copy, run, show and make available your game and its store page to players on llvls, and to sell the paid content you have priced. We pay you only the shares in Schedule 2.
7.2 The licence also lets us promote your game and llvls using your game’s name, store page, screenshots, short clips, share cards and your creator name: on llvls and 4rc4d3, in our emails, on our blog and on social media. Players may also take screenshots of your game, and record, stream and share their own play of it, as long as they don’t present the game as their own.
7.3 The licence isn’t exclusive. You can publish the same game anywhere else, on any terms you like.
7.4 The licence doesn’t let us sell your game anywhere other than llvls, or change it other than as needed to build, host and serve it. Showing it on other sites (syndication) would need your separate agreement.
7.5 We may let our service providers (for example hosting and delivery) handle your game only as needed to run llvls for us.
7.6 The licence lasts while the game is published. When you unpublish, the game leaves llvls straight away, except that:
- players who bought paid content keep access to the last release that was live, with everything they bought in it, for as long as we run llvls, unless it is removed for legal or safety reasons;
- we start no new promotion, but promotion already published may stay;
- we keep the copies, release notes and records we need for the law, disputes, refunds and chargebacks.
7.7 You confirm you have every right needed to give this licence, for everything in the game.
8. Other people’s material
In plain words: use only what you made, licensed or got from the Studio.
8.1 Only use art, sound, music, fonts and code you made, have licensed, or took from the Studio’s starter packs and registry libraries.
8.2 The starter packs are free to use in your games under each pack’s own licence. Where a pack asks for credit, the Studio adds it to your game.
8.3 Registry libraries come with their own open-source licences. The Studio keeps the notices those licences need.
8.4 If someone tells us your game infringes their rights, we may take it down under part 14 and will tell you why. If you think a game on llvls copies yours, report it through Report content.
9. Earnings and payouts
In plain words: you earn a share of ads and sales. Each month closes about 30 days after it ends, earnings are held about 60 days, then paid by bank transfer once you pass your minimum. Refunds, chargebacks and invalid traffic come off before anything is paid.
9.1 You earn the shares in Schedule 2 from ads shown with your games and from sales of your paid content (unlocks, series games, bundles and in-game items).
9.2 We measure plays and ad impressions ourselves, in the page around your game. Automated or suspicious traffic, plays and purchases from your own accounts, and previews, phone tests and playtest links don’t count. Our measurements are what your share is worked out from.
9.3 Ad earnings come from a pool funded only by what ad networks finally report and actually pay us for that month. If a network pays less than it reported, or takes money back, the pool shrinks, split across creators by what each earned from that network. We never pay out more than we received.
9.4 Your share of a sale is worked out from the price the player paid, less the VAT or sales tax we charged. Card fees come out of our share, not yours. Your share stays in the currency the player paid until the day before the payout run. It then converts into your payout currency (EUR, or ISK for an Icelandic account) at our bank’s rate that day, with no markup, and ad earnings convert the same way. Rates can move between a sale and the payout, and your statement shows the rate used.
9.5 If a sale is refunded or disputed, your share of it is taken back from your held balance before anything is paid, and the buyer loses access. If we win the dispute, your share comes back. If your held balance isn’t enough, we take the rest from your future earnings. If more than EUR 50 is still unrecovered after 60 days, or your account is closing, we may charge the card you saved for Studio Pro; you agree to this when you save the card. We never send you an invoice for a shortfall, and anything we can’t recover this way is written off, unless it came from fraud.
9.6 Earnings build up during the month. The month closes about 30 days after it ends, once the money has arrived and been checked. Earnings are then held for about 60 days, become available, and are paid in the next monthly payout run.
9.7 We pay by bank transfer to an account in your own name, or your business’s: a SEPA transfer in EUR in SEPA countries (the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), a domestic transfer in ISK to an Icelandic account, and an international (SWIFT) transfer anywhere else. We charge no fee; your bank might. We pay once your available balance passes your minimum (EUR 50, or EUR 100 or 250 if you choose). Below it, earnings roll over. We pay at least once a year if your balance is over EUR 10, and when your account closes, once the last holds end.
9.8 An international (SWIFT) transfer costs a bank fee for each payment. It is taken from that payout and shown on your statement, and SWIFT payouts have a minimum of EUR 100. We can’t pay anyone, or to any country, that sanctions rules forbid us to pay.
9.9 We hold earnings, without taking them, while we look into invalid traffic or fraud, while a take-down is being confirmed, during a suspension or account recovery, and for 7 days after you change payout details. We tell you why. Earnings from invalid traffic or fraud are not earned and aren’t paid.
9.10 You get a monthly statement (PDF and CSV) showing what was earned, adjusted and paid, with every adjustment on its own line. If we pay you too little, we add the difference to the next run. If we pay you too much by mistake, we take it from your future earnings. Tell us within 3 months of a statement if you think it’s wrong. We correct our own mistakes within the same 3 months; refunds, chargebacks, network clawbacks and invalid traffic follow clauses 9.3, 9.5 and 9.9 instead.
9.11 If you can’t earn yet (you aren’t verified, or you are 16 or 17), your games still count in the ad pool, and your share is kept pending verification for up to 12 months after the month it was earned closes. If you verify in time, it moves into the normal hold. After 12 months it becomes our revenue and is no longer owed to you.
9.12 You can move part of your available balance into AI credits. This only goes one way: credits can’t become earnings or money again.
10. Verification and tax
In plain words: verify once to earn or sell. Declaring your income is up to you. We handle the VAT on what players buy.
10.1 To earn or sell you pass Tier 1 verification: two-factor, your legal name, date of birth and address, whether you earn as yourself or as a business (with its VAT number if it has one), and a bank account in your own name or your business’s. You must be 18 or over.
10.2 When your earnings pass the threshold shown in the Studio, or if something doesn’t match, we may ask for more checks, including documents checked by a verification provider. Payouts can wait until they are done.
10.3 Your legal name and address are private. Players never see them.
10.4 We are the seller to players, so we charge and pay the VAT or sales tax each player’s country requires. You don’t need to register for VAT to sell on llvls.
10.5 Declaring what you earn, and paying any tax on it, is up to you. We don’t take income tax off your payouts. If a law requires us to report payments to you, we will tell you before anything is sent.
10.6 If you earn as a business, your statements show your business details and VAT number, so you can use them in your own accounts.
11. Studio Pro, AI credits and other things you buy from us
In plain words: Studio Pro renews until you cancel, and you can cancel any time. AI credits are prepaid, last 12 months and aren’t money.
11.1 Prices are shown in the Studio before you pay, including VAT where it applies. You pay by card through our payment provider.
11.2 Studio Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription. It renews automatically until you cancel, which you can do at any time in your account. Pro keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. We don’t refund part periods, except where the law says we must.
11.3 If the Pro price goes up, we tell you at least 30 days before your next renewal, so you can cancel first.
11.4 Pro’s monthly AI credit allowance resets each month and doesn’t roll over.
11.5 AI credits you buy last 12 months from purchase. Credits have no cash value. You can’t transfer or sell them, or turn them into earnings or money. If credits are refunded, the money goes back only to the card that paid. Credits we give you for free (starter, founding or referral grants) last 3 months from when you get them.
11.6 If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. AI credits are digital content we supply straight away: when you buy them, we ask you to agree to that and to confirm you know you then lose the right to withdraw. Studio Pro is a service that starts straight away: when you start it, we ask you to agree to that, and if you withdraw within 14 days we refund what you paid, less the part of the period you have already had.
11.7 If a Pro renewal fails, we try the payment again, and until it goes through you are on the free plan: Pro-only features stop working, and no monthly AI credits are issued for the unpaid period. Games over the free size limit keep working on llvls, but you can’t publish a new release of one while it is over the limit.
12. Publishing, ratings and review
In plain words: follow the publishing guidelines, rate your game honestly, and expect automatic checks on every release, with a person on some.
12.1 Your games and store pages must follow the Publishing guidelines and the law.
12.2 Rate every game honestly: choose its audience (Kids, General or Mature) and declare its content descriptors, as the Ratings guide explains. A mature-tier descriptor makes a game Mature. We may change a game’s rating or classification and will tell you.
12.3 All purchases go through llvls. No loot boxes or other paid random rewards, no currencies bought with money, and item offers only at a break in play, next to a free way to carry on.
12.4 Leave players’ personal information alone. Don’t ask players for personal details, don’t build ways for them to send each other free text, and don’t try to work out who a player is. Don’t try to get players’ network, device or location details, for example their IP address, by any means.
12.5 Don’t play, rate or buy your own games from other accounts, ask others to, or try to inflate plays, ratings or ad results in any other way.
12.6 Every release is checked automatically. Anything flagged goes to a person, and so do every Mature release and the first release that sells items. A release that is “not approved” comes with a note on what to change and doesn’t count against you.
12.7 Store page text and images are checked when you change them.
12.8 Kids games show no ads until a certified kid-safe ad network is in place, so they earn nothing from ads until then. After that they show only kid-safe ads, never rewarded ads.
13. How games are shown and ranked
In plain words: nobody can pay for placement. Here is what decides where games appear, and how our own games are treated.
13.1 Where games appear depends on these main factors:
- Home: chosen by our team by hand.
- New games: every new game gets a minimum number of appearances on the new-game shelf.
- Browse and search: ordered by plays, ratings and recency.
- Search engines: a game page is offered to search engines only once it passes a quality bar on plays, rating and completion.
- Visibility rules: Mature games are never listed for signed-out visitors or under-18 players, and a creator with two strikes isn’t featured.
- Not a factor: being part of a series, and anything you pay us.
13.2 There is no paid placement. If we ever offer promoted spots, they will be labelled, kept out of the ordinary lists, and added to these terms first.
13.3 Games made by 4rc4d3 staff, including our own house games, are labelled as house games, and someone other than the person who made them reviews them. Apart from that, they follow these same terms and get no special treatment, except that they don’t share in the bonus pool (Schedule 2).
13.4 You see statistics about your games in aggregate only. We never give you players’ personal data, and age groups with too few players show “not enough data”.
14. Reports, take-downs, strikes and suspension
In plain words: if a live game breaks the rules, we may take it down, give a strike or suspend the account. We always say why, and earnings are held, never taken, unless they came from fraud.
14.1 Anyone can report a game, store page or comment through Report content. We look at each report and tell the person who sent it what we decided.
14.2 We may remove a game or release at once if it breaks these terms, the guidelines or the law, or puts players at risk. A second person on our team must confirm within 24 hours, or the game comes back and any holds lift.
14.3 Whenever we restrict, remove, suspend or end something of yours, we send a statement of reasons: what we did, why, the rule or law involved, whether automated checks played a part, and how to appeal.
14.4 A confirmed breach in a live game, such as a wrong rating, gives a strike. Strikes expire after 90 days. With one strike, your next releases are checked by a person (the number is shown in the Studio). With two, you also aren’t featured and new games are always checked. A third strike means suspension. Strikes don’t affect earnings.
14.5 We suspend accounts for serious or repeated breaches. During a suspension your games are offline, the Studio is read-only, your earnings are held, not taken, and you can still download your projects, except as clause 14.6 says.
14.6 Anything that endangers a child is removed at once and for good, and the account is suspended. You can’t download that game’s project, and no earnings from it are paid. Where the law requires us to report it to the authorities, we may suspend without notice and send the statement of reasons only once that is done.
14.7 We act on valid orders from courts and authorities, and tell you unless the order forbids it.
15. Appeals and complaints
In plain words: you can ask for a second look at any decision, and a different person handles it.
15.1 You can appeal any decision about your account or games once, through the appeal form in the Studio: a release not approved, a take-down, a strike, a suspension, held earnings or a failed verification. Appeal within 3 months of the decision.
15.2 A different person from the one who decided looks at your appeal. We reply within 14 days.
15.3 For any other complaint about us, our tools or your payouts, contact us. Complaints are free, and we tell you the outcome.
15.4 This doesn’t affect any right you have to use a mediator or an out-of-court dispute body that the law makes available to you.
16. Ending the agreement
In plain words: you can leave at any time. We can end the agreement with 30 days’ notice, or at once for serious breaches. Money you are owed is paid once the holds end.
16.1 You can end this agreement at any time by deleting your creator account. Download your projects first: deleting the account deletes them.
16.2 When your account is deleted, your games leave llvls, except as clause 7.6 says: players keep the last live release of each game they bought from, so we keep those releases. We also keep what the law requires: financial records for at least 7 years under Icelandic bookkeeping law, release records, the audit log, and the record of which terms you accepted, for 4 years after deletion.
16.3 We can end this agreement for any reason with at least 30 days’ notice and a statement of reasons.
16.4 We can end it at once, with a statement of reasons, if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, commit fraud or create invalid traffic, endanger a child, or if the law requires it.
16.5 However the agreement ends, we pay your available and held earnings, whatever the amount, once their holds end and that period’s refunds and chargebacks are settled. If we end it for fraud, invalid traffic or endangering a child, earnings connected with it are never paid, we deduct our losses (refunds, chargebacks, network clawbacks and costs) from anything else we hold, and we may hold the rest for as long as an investigation by the authorities needs. Only what is left after that is paid.
16.6 If we end the agreement and you haven’t broken these terms, we refund unused purchased AI credits and the unused part of a Studio Pro period.
16.7 Parts 6, 9 (for money owed), 18, 19, 20 and 21, and clause 7.6, continue after the agreement ends.
17. Changes to these terms and to 4rc4d3
In plain words: we tell you before anything changes. A cut to your share, or a new fee, gets 90 days’ notice.
17.1 We may change these terms, the schedules or the guidelines. We tell you by email and in the Studio, say what is changing and why, and give the date it takes effect.
17.2 We give at least 90 days’ notice of a cut to a revenue share or a new fee, and at least 30 days’ notice of any other material change. A change the law, a court or an authority requires, or one that deals with an unexpected security or safety risk, can take effect sooner. A change that only benefits you can take effect at once.
17.3 Each version of these terms has a version code. We ask you to accept a material change at your next sign-in. If you don’t agree, you can end the agreement, free of charge, before the change takes effect.
17.4 We may improve or change the Studio, llvls, the templates and the SDK. When a new major version of the SDK comes out, games built on the previous one keep working for at least 12 months.
18. Our responsibility to you
In plain words: we are responsible for what we get wrong, within limits. Nothing limits what the law won’t let us limit.
18.1 We run 4rc4d3 and llvls with reasonable care and skill. We can’t promise they will always be available or free of errors, or that your games will earn anything.
18.2 Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow to be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights stay as they are.
18.3 We aren’t responsible for losses that weren’t foreseeable. If you use 4rc4d3 as a business, we aren’t responsible for lost profit, revenue, business or goodwill, or for indirect losses.
18.4 Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the greater of what you paid us in those 12 months and EUR 100. This limit never reduces earnings we owe you under Schedule 2.
18.5 We aren’t responsible for services you choose to use alongside 4rc4d3, such as Anthropic when you use your own key, or your bank.
19. Your responsibility for your games
19.1 If you use 4rc4d3 as a business, you will cover our reasonable costs and losses from a claim that your game or content infringes someone’s rights or breaks the law. This doesn’t apply to anything we supplied, such as templates or starter packs. We will tell you about the claim promptly and let you take part in the defence. This clause doesn’t apply to consumers.
20. Law and disputes
20.1 Icelandic law governs these terms.
20.2 The courts of Iceland, with Héraðsdómur Reykjavíkur as the first court, decide disputes about them. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there where that law allows.
20.3 Please use part 15 first. Most problems are solved there.
21. General
21.1 We may transfer this agreement to a company that takes over 4rc4d3 or llvls, such as 4rc4d3 ehf., if your rights stay the same. We will tell you. You can’t transfer it without our written agreement.
21.2 If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
21.3 We aren’t responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
21.4 We send notices to the email address on your account and show them in the Studio. You can reach us at hello@4rc4d3.com.
21.5 These terms are in English only.
21.6 This agreement doesn’t make you our employee, agent or partner.
21.7 If you use 4rc4d3 as a business, these terms are the whole agreement between us about it.
Schedule 1: Founding creator beta
In plain words: the beta is early. Nothing earns money yet, things will change, and we can’t promise anything about it.
S1.1 This schedule applies from when we let you into the Studio until we announce that the beta has ended.
S1.2 During the beta, sales and live ads are switched off. Nothing earns money and we pay nothing. Your plays still count in your statistics.
S1.3 Founding creators receive a grant of AI credits worth $30. Grants have no cash value and follow clause 11.5.
S1.4 Features, limits, templates and the SDK may change during the beta, sometimes without much warning. We may unpublish a beta game, for example after an SDK change or a review. We will tell you, and you keep your project.
S1.5 The beta is offered as it is. We make no promise about traffic, featuring, a launch date, or that any planned feature arrives as described.
S1.6 Game jam entries published on llvls follow these terms. The jam’s own rules cover entry, judging and prizes.
Schedule 2: Earnings and fees
These figures are part of the terms. A cut to a share, or a new fee, needs 90 days’ notice (part 17).
| Stream | Your share | Of what |
|---|---|---|
| Ads at breaks in your game | 40% base, plus a share of a 10% bonus pool (up to 50% in all) | Ad revenue from your games, from final network statements and cash received |
| Display ads around the game frame | Not shown yet. The share will be added here before they start | The same |
| Sales: unlocks, series games, bundles, in-game items | 70% | The price paid less VAT or sales tax; card fees come from our share |
| Tips | Not offered |
Tax is rounded to the cent first, your share is then rounded down, and any fraction left is ours.
How the bonus pool is split. Each month’s bonus pool is 10% of the ad revenue from games on llvls, taken from final network statements and money we have received. It is split into two equal halves after that month’s fraud checks.
- Quality half (5%). Shared by each game’s points: its engaged players multiplied by its quality score. An engaged player is a unique, real player who spent at least 3 active minutes in the game that month. The quality score comes from the game’s rating and the share of its players who come back on another day, and runs from 0.5 to 1.5.
- Growth half (5%). Shared by the players you bring to llvls. You get one point for each player new to llvls who arrives through your game’s share or challenge links and makes a counted play, and a second point if that player plays another game on llvls within 7 days. Each new player counts once, for the first creator who brought them. In a month when nobody brings in a new player, this half goes to the quality half.
A game needs at least 25 engaged players in the month to share in either half. No game gets more than 25% of either half; anything above that is shared among the other games. Players and plays linked to your own accounts don’t count. House games, including games by 4rc4d3 staff, don’t share in the bonus pool. A change to how the pool is split is a material change under clause 17.2.
