Follow a release through checks and review
Read a release outcome and decide whether to wait, fix or request another review.
Steps
- Open Your games and select the game.
- Open Releases and choose the release number.
- Read its current state and any findings.
- Follow the action for that state below.
- Return to Releases to check the outcome after a retry or review.
| State | Next step |
|---|---|
| Submitted or being checked | Wait for building and automatic checks. Read any reported failure. |
| In review | Wait for a person to assess the release. Read any note shown. |
| Live | Open the game on llvls and verify the player experience. |
| Not approved | Read the exact reason, fix the project or use the available second-review route. |
| Withdrawn | Read why the release ended and which actions remain available. |
Fix a release that was not approved
- Open its explanation.
- If it is a build or runtime issue, reproduce it in the Studio.
- If it concerns content or rating, read the reviewer’s note and update the game or declaration.
- Run and test the corrected project.
- Publish a new release with notes describing the fix.
What happens next
A failed new release does not replace an existing live release. A release not being approved is not itself a strike.
If you disagree with a person’s decision, use Ask for a second review where offered. Automatic build failures need fixing in the project.
