Choose your public creator handle

Steps

1. In the Studio, open Account > Profile.
2. Find Public handle.
3. Enter a handle using lowercase letters, numbers, a dash or an underscore. Follow the length shown by the field.
4. Avoid your real name or contact details.
5. Choose Save handle.
6. Read the confirmation and the profile address shown.

What happens next

Players see your handle on your games and public profile. Your profile becomes available once one of your games is listed. Your private creator name is separate.

Change an existing handle

1. Return to Profile.
2. Check whether the page allows a change or shows a date when you can change it again.
3. Enter the replacement handle and choose Save handle.
4. Use the updated profile address when sharing your work.

The previous handle is reserved for you for a while. Follow the change date shown rather than assuming handles can be changed immediately.

If it cannot be saved

A handle may be taken, reserved, too long or look like contact details. Follow the field’s message and choose another.
