Test platform behaviour with the SDK panel

Simulate platform responses and inspect game calls without real player activity.

On this page

Before you start

Run the project successfully. The SDK panel is a developer testing tool inside the preview.

Steps

  1. Open the build panel and choose SDK panel. In Prompt mode, open the corresponding panel drawer.
  2. Review the available simulated settings.
  3. Change one setting relevant to your game, such as an available ad response or save-space condition.
  4. Trigger the corresponding action in the preview.
  5. Inspect the call log and the game’s response.
  6. Test the unsuccessful path as well as the successful one. For example, the game should cope when a reward opportunity is unavailable.
  7. Restore the test setting before testing a different condition.
  8. Use the panel’s Clear saves control when you need to simulate a fresh player.

What happens next

The panel simulates platform behaviour. Ads are simulated and the preview does not create counted player activity.

Preview saves are held in memory for that editor page. Restarting the same build keeps those saves; building a new version uses a fresh store. Clearing preview saves affects the current test store, not live players’ progress.

If the game does not react

Check whether it actually calls the relevant SDK feature and whether the manifest declares the needed feature. Changing a simulation cannot add missing game code.
